It has been a rainy day here in the Adirondacks. All the warm air and rain have caused quite a bit of fog around our area lakes.

Nico and I have been walking in the woods daily for the past week or so. It’s safe to say that we’ve both found this beneficial to our mental and physical health, Nico probably more than I.

Nico had a wonderful Christmas. Not only did he get to open his toys but he also helped open and inspect everything Shelly and I opened.

I am halfway through a two-week staycation. I think Nico may have a difficult time adjusting to me going back to work.

We’ve been slowly introducing raw meat into Nico’s diet.

Nico and I had quite the pre-adventure today before heading out for a walk (run for Nico).

Today is the solstice, which is exciting. Before taking on this project, I never thought of the solstice that much.

Sometimes, I reflect on how much this photography project has affected Nico’s life.

We took Nico to the trails near our house today, the same ones I almost got stuck at earlier in the week.

We had a small group of friends over for a Friendsgiving today, which was very exciting for Nico.

Nico and I decided to get creative with our lighting this evening.

It was a cold feet kind of day. When Nico and I went on our morning walk, it was 10°F, and his feet were getting cold.

Nico appears to have exhausted himself today by barking at everything in the neighborhood.

Nico got this Chuckit! Kick Fetch ball for Christmas a few years ago.

Nico didn’t have much excitement over the weekend, so I promised him I would take him for a run today.

It was a blah sort of day here in the Adirondacks. I promised Nico we would do something fun, but that didn’t end up happening. I owe him tomorrow.

The snow is quickly disappearing from our yard.
