A restful night of sleep.

We took advantage of the nice weather this evening to get out on the water.

Nico has had dinner and his evening treat, meaning it’s time to snooze on the couch for the rest of the evening.

Nico wasn’t particularly interested in getting his photo taken this evening.

Nico and I headed to the central Adirondacks this morning to spend time with friends camping.

Nico went into the lab with me at Paul Smith’s College this afternoon.

I asked Nico to place on the large rock behind our fireplace. I was not clear enough because he jumped into the firepit instead.

I have a surefire way of getting Nico to stare longingly into the camera with drool pouring from his cheeks.

Nico is entertaining to watch when he is in the yard.

The life of a dog can be quite strange and unpredictable, at least for my dogs.

I had a long day in the field and Nico had a long day couped up inside.

Nico and I went for a walk in the woods today. When I saw him bound over this log, I knew I needed to get a shot of him going over it.

Nico came to work with me today and enjoyed running around on the trails on the Paul Smith’s College campus.

Nico enjoys cuddling up in blankets, against Shelly or I, or in his big fluffy bed.

Nico doesn’t like to play fetch in the yard, but he’ll fetch for quite a while in the house.

Nico is patiently waiting for his dinner.

Nico has a strong hold on Allie the alligator, one of the toys he inherited from Khyber.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I strongly believe in working on getting dogs comfortable in strange situations.

Many dogs and kids were going up and down our street this afternoon, so I took the opportunity to work with Nico on holding in his ‘place.’
