The stable flies have been harassing Nico most of the day.

We’re settling in to our last weekend of vacation on Lower Saranac Lake.

Another day of thunderstorms here in Saranac Lake.

There were lots of thunderstorms rolling through the area. Nico could care less, he sleeps right through them.

Nico is sneaking out from under the tent.

It was chilly in the Adirondacks last night and today, but that didn’t stop Nico from swimming.

Nico enjoys sitting in the woods and looking out over Lower Saranac Lake.

Nico is such a good boy, he walked up and down this moss covered log for me about a dozen times as I captured different shots of him.

We made the trip home given another full day of rain. Nico is exhausted from camping and enjoying snoozing on the couch.

This photo series is challenging to stay on top of, especially considering my regular job takes a considerable amount of time, even beyond normal working hours.

It rained all night and through most of the day. Nico was perfectly content to stay all snuggled up with Shelly and I in our tent.

Nico is an excellent paddleboard partner.

Nico had to go to the vet for a vaccine this morning, which is not his favorite thing to do.

Storms were passing through the area for much of this afternoon.

Camping is completely exhausting for Nico.

Nico is going to be getting a lot of swimming in over the next two weeks while we spend time at a campsite on Lower Saranac Lake.

Nico spent several hours this afternoon sleeping on his bench.

Nico is exhausted from helping prepare for a camping vacation.

I found Nico and Shelly hanging out in my shed this evening, waiting for me to help stack and fill our potato planters.
