Today is Shelly’s birthday. We were out for the afternoon, and when we came home, she hung out in the car while on the phone.

Shelly and I played a game of cornhole after work, and Nico had fun chasing the bags as we threw them.

I gave Nico this Ruffwear Lunker dog toy for Christmas, but today was the first day we got to try it out in the water.

Nico saw the boat snacks come out and thought there might be something in there for him!

We had several friends over this afternoon, which Nico found very exciting.

The white tip of Nico’s tail is one of my favorite markings on his body. It’s also very convenient to pick out where he is when he is running through the woods.

It was a bit chilly today, but it seems to have kept the bugs at bay. Nico got to go for a walk around the neighborhood this afternoon, which he always enjoys.

Nico enjoys his Benebones, especially nibbling the little chewed-up bits on the end.

I got home from work late tonight and this little dude was standing in the door “wroo wroo”ing at me.

It was a good afternoon to lay among the wildflowers.
