Day 1,411

Yesterday, I shared the three steps we go through with Nico every evening. Typically, I’m the one who does all of those with him. But tonight, I was at work way past his dinner time. By the time I got home, he had gone through his entire evening routine. He still got off the couch to greet me but with much less enthusiasm than normal. Normally, he talks to me for several minutes when I get home. He does a combination of rooing and low growls. Tonight, I only got one little growl.
